That was meant to say

After 3 months off after an op on my foot. I was at Chicksands this weekend, WOW. I'm back, pedalling, rolling, jumping and a bit of falling off.

Fantastic - i haven't lost what little skill i had that much, but the best bit i feel ace to be riding again.

The tykes on the 4x still whipped my arse as always: they always do.

Cheers jedi - I was so close to packing it all in and sticking the bikes on ebay. I'm suffering a bit now for my ride but it was worth it.

Yeah thanks Jedi,
I can't give in now, 20 of cycling various styles means it's the only sport i participate in with any regularity. The only problem is that i have had a bit of time off work and can't get out as much as i would like to. Half days here and there are a no no. The powers that be just don't understand passion outside of work. GRrrrr. Still there's always the spin classes at the Gym: Good for fitness and muscle memory, poor for enjoyment and thrills. Are they really worth it?
