This has just been offered to me for £250. Looking for my first dip into the dark side. It's a errr...a Trek Ally road bike, 105, carbon forks.
Not bothered about the asthetics, but....will I die if I buy it 😉
My thoughts are "it'll be reet"...

I'd be happy to ride that.

Good photos.
Looks OK to me, the centre of the tubes will be less stressed the the ends. As long as it's not an as-light-as-we-can-make-it frame I would guess it's absolutely fine. If it shipped with 105 I would imagine the frame is relatively basic.
EDIT OMFG JUST POLISH IT OUT POLISHERMAN
LOL! gofasterstripes.
So no risk of death whatsoever...? 😉
I'd keep an eye on it in a general way, but you'd have to be spectacularly unlucky for it to break there. Maybe check that the handlebars don't hit the frame there? Don't want it to get any worse if you do crash.
My commuter has two dents that size and has been fine for the last year. I'd go for it.
I've got cable rub deeper than that on my ancient Giant Trance, and I've just sent that round Glentress Black route. You'll be fine, as long as there's no crack.
Put a sticker on it and get on and ride the thing.
105, what wheels? VGC?
I wouldn't buy it unless the kit was worth £250 (I just know I'd want to swap the frame out!)
It's a road bike. Would not ride that, dents or not.
Is this one of those what colour do you see pics? :-)Top pic looks purple bottom looks grey
I'd be moderately concerned about thumping down rocky trails on a mountain bike with a dent like that ...... but a road bike !!! Nah, just buy it and ride it !
