Is there a way of matching Shimano shifters with Formula brakes like the Ispec/Matchmaker system?

Must admit I've been looking closely at the new I-Spec 2 XT 11 Spd shifters and whether they might bolt onto some Formula Matchmaker clamps. Maybe need some slightly reworked spacers but it looks maybe possible. Anyone tried or able to try it?.
