[Closed] Isle of Wight conditions?

Assuming the forecast isn't too horrific for Sunday my riding partner in crime & myself are thinking of heading across the Solent for a bit of an explore. Are there any locals on here or anyone that has ridden over there recently that can tell me whether we're likely to be wasting our time given the recent rain, as if memory serves me correctly the underlying strata is predominantly chalky. Also if anyone has any route ideas in the order of 25 miles 'ish then it would be good to hear them.
