I don't use bar ends but I have a 50mm stem with riser bars. Not weird at all imo?

i use a 60mm stem, 750mm risers and ergon grips with bar ends on a bike i use.

very very comfy too.

Aye...not my cup of tea, but if it's good for you...cool. Would only use a set up like that with very flat bars if at all...would be good on a commuter for me...not much else.

Looks really wierd on risers i think.

I find that bar ends on 'work' for me with narrow bars. Wider bars spread your arms out more and having bar ends dragging you further forward/out more would make it even more difficult to get any decent leverage (out the saddle pedalling) and make it harder to maintain posture when resting on bar ends on wider bars
