Seen worse chain rings, certainly usable. How much was that model new £450 ? Nothing wrong there at about £200.

No, not bad at all. Those tyres are probably shite, but that's an easy fix.
I'd agree. £200 looks good value. If you fancy new, Giant Defy 5's are currently £300, and that is a fantastic bike for the money, with full warranty and Shimano shifters. Spend another £50 on new tyres and tubes and it will provide an excellent introduction to the road.
