Going tubeless for the first time.
Will have a 29x3" on the front and 29x2.3 at the back.
Would this be okay for the only tube I carry just in-case?

i just use standard 29er tubes in my Krampus, even a 26" tube would fit fine

Why not get a 29r tube. That link went to a 27.5.

I saw a suggestion on a thread the other day that with tube less a slime tube might be a good call as you don't always get all the thorns out. I don't carry one but I think it's not a bad idea really.

Had a tubeless nobble rip nightmare recently so going for a slime tube but they are bulky and heavy. The Boardman lightweight tube with removeable core is £5 at Halfords, so one of them with some stans in.

Carying that + weldtite tubeless kit should sort it!

It is a 27.5 inch tube, but it is a 3 inch tube that weighs only 200g
I hope this is a thing I will carry for ages without ever using!
