Last one on suspension forks now, i promise... Maybe. Is there any reason i shouldn't change the current RS Judy 120mm on my hardtail to a RS Pike ultimate 140mm? My main aim is for something more capable and confidence inspiring, and less flimsy. Unfortunately budget to upgrade complete bike is not there so this seems the logical step forward to me. Current offset on the Judy is 44 and the pike is 42 but i doubt il notice that. Any advice appreciated
You won’t notice the difference. You possibly might have if everything else was the same (A2C, travel etc) but most likely not.

You will notice the much bigger stiffer stanchions and real damper
A mate has those on his Roscoe and they are a real holdback for him. When I ride his bike I love it but I am much slower and more beaten up by the bottom of the track
@chrishc777 thats what my bike is. Plan to make it more confidence inspiring and capable. Pike purchased and en-route anyway now 😂
