[Closed] Is there a Blackberry application that will give me a grid reference

As stated above. Looking for something that will give me a grid refernce as a just in case I get lost feature when riding around in the Lakes.

I know the google maps app pin points (roughly) where you are but not sure if this will be that helpful up in the hills.

Dunno about Blackberry (have you googled?) but there's an Android application called Grid Reference which does exactly that.

There looks to be one in the app world called OS British Grid Reference

There is another app on AppWorld called MyNGR which gives a 6, 8 or 10 figure NGR as well as real OSGB36 height ASL and its FREE. I've used it and it is spot on using my Blackberry Torch and tested with other club members Bold and Curve.

I use Grid reference on Android and it is great. I thought it might be useful if I ever need to ring 999 when out on a ride.
