Quick question, I need to shorten a brake hose in a hurry, I've got the compresion olive and barb thing from an Avid bleed kit.
Anyone know if the compression olive and barb thing (is this the banjo?) is common across all avid brakes or is it specific to each type of brakes (Elixir Rs in this case)?

I did this to my elixirs last month and am pretty sure that the barbs and olives are common to Juicy/Elixir but I'm checking what I ordered now
can't seem to access my CRC history now but still pretty sure that they're cross compatible.
[b]/edit[/b] SPANG! should have read your OP more carefully. I used the barbs and olives from the avid bleed kit to do one of my sets of elixirs (ordered the ones for CRC for the other) and it worked so yes, you should be fine. ofc you will need to bleed after but as you have the kit this shouldn't present any problems
