I'm off to Gwydir on Saturday (17th Feb). I've hired a bike and everything (going by train).
I've just spotted that it's the Cambrian Rally. MBWales says Mawr is closed. Is that right? Plus the Cambrian Rally website shows a stage called "Penmachno South": does that mean both trails are no-go this Saturday? Disaster!
I'd be grateful of any more information.

The trails will be closed all day on Saturday 17th February for the Cambrian Rally. There will be a lot of cars ripping round the forest track, so the trails will be inaccessible. Normal service will be resumed on Sunday!
