I'm pretty sure that as of 1st June, the bottom sections of Terrys belly, root mavoeuvres and hot stepper are closed due to the National grid doing work on overhead power lines.
This is why they have opened up a handful of new trails

Ive just got back. It was closed from top to bottom today, as was hotstepper. Bit gutted as they said thursday only the bottom of both trails would be closed.
No, yesterday was a ****ing shambles to be honest! There were 4 new runs advertised as being open yesterday and at least 1 of those was still shut (AC DC).
And the 'bottom section' of Terry's Belly was shut, as was the entire top section plus Popty Ping, Hotstepper etc. Half the damn park was closed, I would definitely have moved my booking if they'd made it clear how much was going to be shut.
Anything on the left of the map as stated above was shut, plus a couple of other lower trails (rim dinger?). It's shut essentially from the trail start point at the moment. They could leave the top section to the fireroad climb open on everything, but then if you're uplifting, you have nowehere to go, unless you want to pedal back up.
Rode all the new stuff, and most of the old. Plenty to ride still.
Still managed 9 runs pedalling up, rather than the uplift 🙂

So I wasn't dreaming when I thought ACDC was supposed to be open! Was a shame that the entire riders right was shut but it was still a great weekend. At least the sun was out 🙂
Yes it was closed today which is disappointing because of its length but a good day nonetheless. Even managed Deep Navigation black trail on my hardtail at decent speed.

At BPW today. There are 4 new trails open, Off Grid, Fforest Bump, Watts Occurring and Blackadder. I spoke to one of the drivers who said that AC/DC was open briefly but it was running so fast they had "lots of crashes" so closed it again. It sounds as if it maybe closed for some time as a redesign may be in order.
As reported above, all the stuff to the left on the Trail Map is closed
Bikepark Wales posted that AC/DC is now open 50 minutes ago? Maybe they’ve fixed the issue with a judiciously places rock or something? Either that or the memo didn’t get through that they had closed it again?
I was up there yesterday and was just glad the weather was decent for a change!
But in regards to the trails the new stuff that had been opened did feel a bit unfinished/green. Watts Occuring is a bit stuck out on its own and seemed harder than the lower blacks to me, perhaps due to current loose surface. The new blues had a weird draggy sand surface that was not great, but again probably needs a few weeks being ridden in.
Not being one for the proper blacks from the top, the choice was limited particularly as Wibby W was closed in the afternoon. Ended up just rolling down Sixapod/Loco each time as I don't like the uphill bit in VV!

Yer I was seeing comments on the AC DC video that BPW uploaded this evening from people saying they'd ridden it today, fingers crossed it stays open now!
