[Closed] Is my freehub on its way out?

On the road bike going up a very steep hill pushing on the pedals it felt like the BB bearings had collapsed so at the top I got off and tested for movement in the BB but nothing.
Riding down the other side of the hill and just freewheeling, it’s almost as though I start back pedalling, although I wasn’t. I had to pedal to stop it.
Is it the freehub in the way out?

Sounds like you need to take it apart and see what condition it’s in.
May just need cleaned and fresh grease
