The same questions get asked over and over again on here, so I wonder if it's time for a sticky FAQ.

Suggestion for topics please. I'd suggest:-

Which 6" full susser
What fork for weight weenie
Singlespeed - wtf!
Tell me about Rohloff
Who's got an Alfine
Which Tourer/Cross/commuter should I buy
What is Picolax?

We could start a Wiki so everybody could contribute

What tyre questions should result in a week ban. It's the most inane query ever, particularly when applied to the chubby middle aged folk who frequent these parts.

It's not F1, its pottering about on a bike. No tyre will grip on wet roots, so stop making excuses for being rubbish.

You forgot the OT ones:

"employment advice wanted" and
"consumer advice wanted"

the first is usually answered join a union, look at acas and tuc sites, get proper advice, click the link on steve austins name

The second - your contract is with the shop, read the BIS advice ( google sale of goods act) don't confuse your rights under sale of goods act and manufacturers warrenty

Surely some of the most common;

Spd's or flats?
Why can't I bunnyhop/jump/manual/etc..?
Why are car drivers idiots?
What tyre for 'x' trail centre?
Dark side 'blah blah blah'..? 😉

I quite like all the response's to these type of questions, its pretty entertaining sometimes eh 😆

That's the best things I've read on this forum, brilliant. 😀

Don't forget the 1x9 thread

"What tyre questions should result in a week ban. It's the most inane query ever"
If you can't noticably tell the differences between tyres you surely aren't riding hard enough? Having a half decent idea how different tyres will perform can only be a good thing?
What tyre for trail centre 'x' tend to be a bit vague and pointless though. Theres too many variables to consider(/that are rarely considered)
