Yes, was at GT yesterday..fully open
Judging by the convoy of cars heading that way from Edinburgh I’d say so !
It was mobbed on Wednesday afternoon, I gave up on the red route too many people!
It was deserted yesterday
Hmm...I was wondering how busy it would be this weekend. We’ve got a long weekend booked in Peebles next week, but are thinking about doing natural ride on the Sat and leaving GT & Inners until the Monday - what do you reckon, will we have to do a 6am start on the Monday?!
I'd not bother with the natural ride, spend one day doing GT, the other doing Inners/Caberston stuff.
If you must ride the red, I wouldn't worry about it being busy, once out on the trails, it's never as it appears down at the peel.
Went up and rode gt red/black on Saturday and inners red on Sunday. glentress was quiet but still a few people around inners car park was busy this morning but the red trail was ok it’s a long climb to the top but the descent was great. Popped into the glentress hotel for breakfast and a chat with Murray. Nice guy and the breakfast was spot on.
