Just seen the fresh goods, can't comment as i am not a paid up premier member.

We see Chipps racing kit for tomorrows death race down fort william, but no bikes, aprart from an Orange 29er.... is he racing it ?
Don't think anyone has raced a 29er yet ๐Ÿ™‚

I am playing in Vets class this year so will keep an eye out for red thor gear hanging from a tree or in a bog (been there myself ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Sounds like several STW regulars are eventing, ranging from high end bikes, to bikes that might not ride out of the carpark intact.

See you all in the morning ๐Ÿ™‚

bit more flash than ours Northwind.

i found the odd ticking noise and fixed it so mine should now make it out of the carpark, might have to tweek the rebound a bit or i will be hanging out of a tree.

Ooooooof. That was good. Bloomin nevis range mud though, it's sandpapered all the skin off my thighs!

Got 13 runs in apparently, for 39th overall. More than happy with that. Just in ahead of Jesse Wigman on his rigid ๐Ÿ˜†

Don't think anyone has raced a 29er yet

not into the XC/enduro racing scene then?

Um, he was obviously talking about this race, not racing in general.

Well, that was fun. Painful but fun. Apologies if I held anyone up ๐Ÿ˜‰

Definitely going to do it next year. What a blast!

Coming soon "SingletrackDownhillWorld" ๐Ÿ™‚

Northwind i flayed the outer layer off my waterproofs instead of skin off my sack and crack, that granite sand gets everywhere. Waterproofs are knackered but i am not walking funny.

Chipps, good go old chap ! did you break anything on the loaner bike ๐Ÿ™‚ (bet your already planning next years...)

Yeah, wish I'd stopped and put on some layers now! Walking like John Wayne today.

I think I shared a gondola with you northwind (chainless 322). Managed 13 runs and 29th place. Can't move now though
