On the website they have five different course in the results file:
Enduro - 1 lap
Enduro - 2 laps
Enduro - 3 laps
Half Enduro - 1 lap
Half Enduro - 2 laps
Anyone know what that means?
Is Half Enduro - 1 lap the same as Enduro - 2 laps?
confused
Nope, can't be. The fastest time for the Half Enduro 1 lap is 1hr 19 mins. Which is way to low for two laps of that course.
still confused.
I read it as:
Enduro - 1 lap (those who entered the full enduro but dropped out after 1 lap)
Enduro - 2 laps (dropped out after 2 laps)
Enduro - 3 laps (completed full enduro)
Half enduro - 1 lap (entered half enduro but dropped our after 1 lap)
Half enduro - 2 laps (completed half enduro)
What a joke if you entered full THREE lap enduro & only did 1 or 2 = DNF
not really, if you entered the 3 lap race, the full enduro and you only done 1 or 2 laps then of course you are a DNF, because you did not finish the complete 3 laps
the timing is quite straight forward surely.
Enduro lap 1 - this is your time as you cross the finish line after lap 1
enduro lap 2 - your total time to complete 2 laps of the course
enduro lap 3 - your total finish time
half enduro lap 1 - total time for first lap
half enduro lap 2- your total time
I think Legolam got it right.
I was riding the Full enduro but ripped my tyre to shreds on the 3rd lap coming down the south loop descent, bodged a fix to get me back to the car (it was closer than the finish).
I classed myself as a DNF but am listed 2nd on the Enduro 2 Laps.
radoggair - were you in dooleys kit?
radoggair - were you in dooleys kit?
yeah
ah, cool, I was in the Felt kit, you shot past me on the south loop descent on lap 2
remember you now. Punctured on that part on lap 1 , was 2nd at the time. Spent alot of effort making up places after fixing puncture. You prob passed me again shortly before i pulled out. Wasn't a good day for me or my legs!!!! ๐
