My experience of grease nipples, oo-eer, only extends to 1960's Land Rovers and a massive grease gun.
It appears like the one on the lower link of my 2009 Socom is nearly recessed?? Am I expected to use a normal bike grease gun or is it ****ed?

use a normal grease gun.
surely the amount of time it took to write this topic would have been better spent taking a grease gun to it and seeing what happens?
