[Closed] Insurance valuation for second hand bikes

All but one of my bikes has been bought second hand (not stolen I might add) but by searching for ones which are buyer collect etc I have gotten some good deals. I now need to get specific bike insurance againa and don't want to add it to house contents so can anyone recommed how I go about getting them valued at either their best second hand value or new for old?

Thanks for any help folks...

And sorry for the incredibly long sentence. Must have turned into Jon Snow this morning.

When I looked into it, adding them onto the house insurance would have insured them new for old and was much less stringent on the amount of security needed, and was cheaper. Didn't need a valuation as they were under the individual item limit but I took a load of time stamped photos just in case.

Insuring them individually cost about 10% of the bikes value per year (i.e. more than my entire home insurance costs) , and had all sorts of clauses about how they would value the bikes regardless fo what you put on the form (e.g. I'd say my bike cost £2700, which is what it cost me to build it 2nd hand, and it would cost £270/year to insure, but if it was stollen they'd assign it a fair market value which might bare no relation to the value I'd given or the premium I'd paid) and you needed proof they'd been locked up etc.
