Hi,
Can anybody give advice on affordable mtb bike insurance?
I used to use e&i but never had to make a claim.
what do people use? it wouldn't need to cover for race/comp use.

can you get it on your household policy? Dedicated cover tends to be very expensive at around 10% of the value of the bike. I use m&s for my house and contents cover, any bike up to 4k is covered without specific declaration and that includes away from home and accidental damage.

Being in a student house i have cover from Endsleigh, they only cover bikes up to £1500 🙁

Use M&S house insurance, they cover up to 4 grand for bikes.
