Been renting since my divorce and haven't bothered with contents insurance. Got a new Aethos the other week and started thinking it might be an idea to get some insurance sorted..... im super careful locking bikes at cafe stops and always keeping them in view. But seeing a guy get taken out by a dog made me think 🤔 got a couple of s works so would need high bike value cover.... who are you folks using ?
Specified items on my Esure policy. I accept that if they get nicked outside a cafe they won't be covered because I refuse to carry a 1kg gold rated lock on rides
I use Laka, it's bike specific and the cover damage, sportives etc. It's more expensive than adding specific item to my home insurance but not by much and the cover is better.
