Hi all,

Picked my next camera - an Insta360 Go. (Unless people can tell me of alternatives), I need something extremely lightweight to sit on my drone and also for biking,, this looks to fit the bill - what are you experiences with them,, I know they are not waterproof and it looks like I can get one for around the £100 mark so ideal for my budget.
Anything to watch out for with them?

it was initially on my list but ended up jjust getting a gopro. Every review I read/watched said stabilisation wasn't that good and the mounts were pretty poor. the magnet thing really appealed to me but apparently everything more than walking and it doesn't stay put. Sorry to be a downer.

I've got an insta 360 sitting in a drawer somewhere. Editing 360 footage was such a ball ache that it was virtually useless.

They have their own (phone and laptop - used iOS).
It's good for creating short Instagram clips. If you intend on doing long clips (over 2 minutes) it is painstakingly annoying.
Things might have moved on as it's been a couple of years since I used it.
Imagine having to watch back everything you've filmed and then choosing the shooting angle and then having your device repeatedly crash while it processed the video.
I've got a MacBook Pro and a pretty decent pixel phone btw.
If you watch anything on YouTube, look at how many sponsored riders actually use 360 footage in the videos. They get them for free, will use them once to fulfill their influencer requirements and then go back to using a Go Pro.

I had a go pro fusion and editing that was real effort - however for my drone and occasional Biking video other than my iPhone - I don’t have many other options as I need the camera to be lightweight

@astura Have you got an Insta Go now? Are you looking at anything else? Have you seen the SMO4K bare camera?
