So why is it alright for people in the industry, ie, magazines and online industry websites to post videos of pro riders riding down footpaths but then pretend to be dead against it, don't get me wrong I love riding footpaths infact I build my own trails on them, but surely this is double standards?

I saw one, the company pulled it as soon as they found out it was not legit. Most people seem very reasonable on towing the party line.
