Today I took my brand new Cube Stereo 140 Super HPC TM 27.5 on its maiden ride.
While I loved most things about the bike, I did find that with the saddle rails slid back to the limit, the saddle still felt a little bit too far forward. I even reversed the top bit of the clamp on the Reverb (not sure you're meant to, but seems to fit fine) to allow the rails to move back by a further 5mm or so. However, another few mm would be perfect. I understand that the fairly steep seat tube of the stereo doesn't help.
Is anyone aware of a clamp adapter for the Reverb to allow more setback?
Alternatively, are there any saddles out there with extra long rails?
Any other solutions?
In case you're wondering, the bike is a size large and I'm 5'11".
No & don't come complaining on here when your Reverb stops working from the forces being put through it from trying to tear it apart backwards.
Steep seat tube angles are great anyway-makes them so much better at climbing.
I think you've either had your post back-to-front or your clamp assembly back-to-front. The saddle clamp assembly should already be orientated to its furthest back setting.
If you've swapped it round to give you more lay-back its now in its normal/correct position.
There are arrows stamped onto the clamps (viewed from above) that should face forward.
