SORRY IF THIS IS A REPEAT THREAD.
Just building up the Inbred, but the rear brake is baffling me.
Anyone know what is the best Hope caliper to run on the rear, bearing in mind that I want to run a 160 rotor. I can't afford to run a caliper with an adaptor as there's not room on the rear mounts.
Any help or experience would be greatfull received.
Ian
No need to shout.
It should be a standard IS mount (I'm assuming it is)? So whatever caliper would run with a 160mm rotor normally I'd imagine
adaptor as there's not room on the rear mounts.
are you sure?

Yeah, no roon at the moment, I've already increased the caliper to run a 160 rotor, but the caliper now hardly moves along the sliding mounts. The adaptor just gets in the way. You are aware of weher the mounts are?
James
Mounts are IS and yes your idea was my next plan, but just wanted reassurance.
Might be worth trying different adaptors, I couldn't get a hayes one to fit, but a shimano 160mm IS to post adaptor worked ok.
