Um, tempted by one as a cheap, fun alternative to my fiesta!
Anyone got one/have one/know if you can get a bike in one?

Fun?

Last time I was at Llandegla there were two guys trying to fit two bikes in one. Not sure if they managed it or not as we just flung the bikes in the van and went.

Probably surprisingly good. I used to get 2 bikes in back of integra type-r with seats down. Got to rides pretty quickly too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Used to have a W reg 2.2VTI. Great drive, just pray nothing goes wrong with the 4 wheel steering as fixing it won't be cheap.

As for bike carrying, I had a tow bar fitted and used a towbar rack.
Anything else would be a right pain in the arse I think. A Civic Type R would be less hassle for sticking bikes in the hatch back.

James - good thought - I'd been trying to decide between a few with and without the 4 wheel steer, I'll stick with the 2 litre models as I think they only had normal steering...

Really fancy a new shape civic (I think they'd be the perfect all round bike/family/work car) or an old type s/type r but they're lots more money ๐Ÿ™

Umm, didn't the 2 wheel steering models have appalling understeer issues? You might want to check that out first.

A friend had a two litre one and it was a bit underpowered to be honest.
