If none of that works, Abi Carver does yoga stretches specifically for mountain bikers.

Yoga is a fantastic place to look to keep yourself supple. I wish I could keep myself doing it but always lapse in any routine seemingly... ๐Ÿ˜•

Get on my back and roll legs to chest. Hold.

Also I like the one where you sit on a chair, cross right leg across left leg. Then, push down on knee away from you. That helps hip areas. Reverse it and repeat.

He said he was stiff and wanted to be soft, not soft and wanted to get stiff ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

๐Ÿ™‚ I've seen Abi posted before, she's too advanced for me.

I have just started to add a lunge type stretch but my knees are a bit knackered for anything too dynamic.

Cheers Rone, noted those.

Yoga will sort you out, it's something you have to do regularly though & put the effort it (there are no quick fixes)

IMO* weight bearing exercises such as some yoga postures & ultimately things like squats, etc, will help knackered knees by strengthening them. *IANAD.
