Travelling the length of Spain in a campervan over winter, stopping off where ever but not sure what the access laws are here. Anyone pointe in the direction of an on line trail guide of some description that I could get a rough idea of nearby trails to follow , no GPS apart from phone so can't do gpx unfortunately. Happy to explore but just not sure if its ok to ride walking paths..
Thanks!
Wikiloc.com is by far the best resource I've come across. Just go on the search function, type in where you happen to be and it will show all the routes in your area. There's literally thousands posted up in Spain. Many areas also have btt centres but getting printed guides can be difficult, particularly at this time of year.
Downloaded the app, looks quite complicated for a thicko but I'm sure I'll suss it out. Cheers pistonbroke:-)
Book a week with Doug at Basque MTB (rides start again in Jan I recall) and pick his brains. FYI he posts here. His facebook page will bring smiles to your face 🙂
Also @spekkie has a thread on his house conversion
Edit: here it is, started a year ago and still going
No idea what the access laws are and I've been riding here for 8 or 9 years. Just go anywhere. Although I generally ride alone and around lunch time, so very rarely see anyone else. iirc I started by following wikilocs with very mixed results.
As above, get in touch with Doug.
if you're in barcelona you're welcome to come for a ride, though I only have time to do night rides. try trailforks as well.

He's got a lovely place just in from Denia & I bet he knows some stuff.
Sorry for late reply, yes I'm just north of Barcelona at present and thanks for the offer Emanuel but night rides are out for me, no lights but lots of cheap booze.. thanks all.
Don't forget there's public holidays on Tuesday and Thursday this coming week so a lot of shops will be shut. I'm in S Cataluña not far off the N340 or A7 so if you are around, give us a shout.
pistonbroke - how was the flooding?
Nothing here, we heard of storms much further south but we've just had a few showers in the last few days.
Martin at Javea (Xabia) Bikes is a lovely bloke and will no doubt point you in the right direction if you pass through.
I think that's Malaga, about 400 miles away from us. There was supposed to have been a marathon there today, needless to say it got cancelled.
