With a buddy, up Llanberis path, down Ranger, then Telegraph Valley. Weather looks ok. There looks like one main car park in Llanberis. One of the things I've wanted to do for a very long time.

Good luck. If visibility is poor the huge stone monolith marks the start of the rangers.

As an aside I find it interesting how mtbers worry about car parks. Just park wherever you have a bike, what's another couple of mins riding into town

Yep, aiming to head off from Llanberis at 6am. I don't think the curfew applies to Telegraph, so as long as we're done after the Ranger path by 10am, we should be ok.

I don’t think the curfew applies to Telegraph

Curfew applies to the main part of telegraph, there’s signs at the bottom of it. On my he upside, the resurfacing work they’ve done on the path up to telegraph makes it virtually impossible to miss these days

The voluntary agreement doesn't apply to Telegraph (by telegraph I mean the whole length of it from where it joins the rangers path, up and over the col, and down the descent), neither does it apply to the bottom of the rangers path up to the point where it meets Telegraph bridleway.

Unless things have changed in the last month the newly surfaced path is the footpath off the rangers path that joins up with the telegraph bridleway just below the col. The section of the rangers path, between the actual bridleway to telegraph and the newly surfaced footpath, is covered by the voluntary agreement. And the newly surfaced path is a footpath so obviously covered in terms of of riding by virtue of being a footpath.

It also marks the top of the Pyg Track. If you haven't crossed the railway line, you're going the wrong way!
