I know this because less than 2 hours after collecting a new car, I took it out to get some petrol, and got flashed by a speed camera on the way back home.
Mr stupid at your service...
First speeding offence in 12 years....
and the new car is a diesel? no?, go on, go and check ๐
all those extra octanes making you drive at maddening speed
maybe the camera just wanted you to feel special ?
Stupid Dumbo knobber, but I did get the right fuel in...
Just a wee bit nippier than the last car.
Admirably underlined by posting in the wrong forum too. Well done sir. ๐
Classique
Thank you, I think I may abandon all further attempts at anything requiring competence for the rest of the day.
Were you distracted because you were on the phone and didn't see the camera, did you also spill your coffee.
Depending how much over the speed limit you were going, you might just have to go and spend a day in a classroom. Well worth it if it keeps the points off your licence.

No, that was me.
probably uglier too..
It's only half a day, but feels a lot longerDepending how much over the speed limit you were going, you might just have to go and spend a day in a classroom. Well worth it if it keeps the points off your licence.
Nope, just thinking its quicker than the old one then flash....

The one and only time I delivered a speed awareness course it felt like 3 days for me.
It was obvious that the assembled crowd were there for one reason only, to avoid "the points". Made it hard going for me. Never ever again.
Why else would anyone go to one of those courses?
Would sir like point on one's licence or would sir prefer to pay out a bit of dosh and perhaps even LEARN something that could save their life?
