Couple of weeks ago I was thinking i might be able to spend a couple of grand via C2W and possibly get an ultegra-ish road bike.
Turns out my employer is sticking to the £1000 limit, so that's out the window.
My bike is ok, it's a planet x, alloy frame/carbon fork. Cobbled together spec, mix of non-groupset Shimano chainset, a bit of acera/Sora and mechanical discs.
I'd like to make my bike a bit nicer, but not sure if it's worth it really.
Here's the options going through my head, do nothing, spruce bike up with a full 105 groupset, spruce bike up with new wheels (scribes/jra's or similar) or see what's available within the £1000 limit, or wait and see if my employer ups the limit next year.
Muse with me, what do you reckon?
