The side caught on a rock and is now on the verge of a 5p sized hole. Thinking a double layer of gorilla tape on the inside and outside. Any better plans?

Looks a mess once it's on, but will do the job.
Make a patch out of fabric/rubber? and slather loads of this stuff on, inside and out - it's great.
