Very very (very) cheeky of course....but it comes down from the back of Win Hill and brings you out by Ladybower reservoir itself.
NO, I didnt ride it!
parkin clough
Thanks for the accurate description of exactly where it is hora.
Looking at google images I think your right (parkin clough). The rooted tree drop off looks bloody scary.
it is
There is no landing/margin for error is there? It just drops down to the right in the adjacent stream through harsh branches
you will die if you try it hora ๐
Hmmmm
I've pushed up it a few times and would say the section in the woods where its at its steepest is unrideable down without first removing your brain.
there are better / more fun tracks in that area
I was over there on Friday and 'pushed' up a cracking looking cheeky trail just along from the one mentioned. I 'might' give it a go some time in the midweek when it is quiet.
shoosh the lot of you. ๐
I posted a comment very similar to yours about this track, about 6 months ago. I then got absolutely abused by some forum member as it was a footpath ๐
However it is very extreme, and looks great fun! ๐

****. You are a God ๐ฏ
been riding that for years but don't tell anyone!
great pic, that's the toughest bit, "my brakes are full on and i'm still not slowing down!"
RichyB, SFB will save that as his screensaver ๐
Swiss- toughest bit is just after that- the 3/4foot sharp drop off over spaghetti tree roots?
**** me, that looks scary
Anyone ridden it in the wet?
It's harsh enough walking down in the wet.

be a better pic if the rider was on a proper bike......... ๐ฏ ๐
I don't mind the drop off, it's that bit that gets me esp the sheer drop to the river below on the riders right that the pic doesn't show that seems to draw me to it like a siren.
and as you may guess, all those roots are extra sketchy in the wet
Jeez! Whoever rides that, good luck or well done!
Seen this and as allways photos never do it justice, look at the trees and how far he is hanging over the back wheel.
It is steep.
Well done (not that I condone this type of cheeky riding of course.)
is my chin and part of my elbow still there ?
hora - ****. You are a God
haha, not at all, i have no job and i can read maps so i have a lot of free time to explore stuff when its nice and quiet.
Sheesh. No pads either.
be a better pic if the rider was on a proper bike.
...and that would be a Ragley? ๐
Check the vid out.
That looks pretty cool.

Check the vid out.Least i know what to hit next on the CX bike...
ive been having a sneaky go at parkin clough all summer mid-week when ive been out on my own. gonna wait till ive got it all without dabs before i take my mates along. got it all in sections but had a couple of hairy tumbles just after that pic. if you follow the line that guys on its a smaller but more awkward drop and snags your bb pretty easy. if you get to the other side of those slabs then its a much bigger drop but with a straighter landing, its still a bit 'huck-slam-grabthebrakes!' but it works for me...sometimes...
i loves it, bit gutted it will soon be too wet to ride it...
Hmmm....I have to be in Manchester at 1:30 on wednesday...Early morning explore i think ๐
Walleater rode it all last Summer, us mere mortals looked on in awe.....
Don't suppose anyone has a grid reference do they?
mikey - look at the first page of the thread for my link

Check the vid out.bloody hell - the front wheel nearly catching on the root at 6/7 secs... ๐ฏ
fair play, fair play.
Thanks Harris: When I first clicked on it the link didn't work for some reason. Internet must be playing up.
So if I was to travel up from down south, is there a decent, easy to find loop around there? Also, is there anywhere local to stay?
hope triple eight
stay at the woodbine in hope
Cheers mate, might have to arrange a visit.
I have done this in the dry and found it pretty tough had a couple of dabs on the sttep rock drops , the best bit is at the top of win hill once youve past the steps , found some jumps and berms up that area as well which are pretty good.
First attempted to ride this 10 years ago, I chickened out but GlenH also of this forum cleaned it on his B17.
