I bought a Planet X XC frame for £99 from chain reaction and using spare parts built up a spare bike.
I just went out to test it and it feels really good, I had to change the stem after a quick try, but after that it feels really good.
Not bad for the money.

good lad, I'm a fan of budget home builds out of garage spares.
I built a similar one using an ol carrera Zelos frame last winter and it's a hoot 😀

I does look a bit odd, it is just a normal seat post within it's limit. Must be the angle I took the picture.
It looks better with the other stem now.
