But damn I had fun! Rode from Tring into Aylesbury, replaced my Race Face Deus XC chainset with a nice new SLX (shifts are so much smoother and no flexy cranks when mashing the pedals). To celebrate I rode back from Aylesbury in to Wendover Woods, did a few laps of the route there (with a few detours when I spotted some nice singletrack), then back along the Icknield way and Ridgeway into Tring again. Think I racked up around 40 miles or so today and my god I ache now!!! Must do it again soon
