The reason I ask is that I placed an order not that long ago and tbh, at the moment I'm not concerned, but with no email confirmation of order and the fact that the contact number does not get me through to anyone (goes dead after 5-6 rings) plus after reading the appauling reviews on service on the web (I Know I should have checked first!) I am starting to worry....just 🙁

yeah used them a few times in the past, but last time was over a year ago. Never had any issues and spoke to the guy on the phone at least once.

i tried to order from them couple of years back. never turned up. never got through on the phone. no response to nice mails, ended up threatening them with trading standards or something and eventually they refunded me. think its the only online retailer i've ever had any problems like that with

I bought some stuff a few years ago and they were very helpful but when I went back last year they were slow and clunky. The fact that their address has changed leads me to believe the business has changed hands
Nope take that back, theyre still in Barnsley, it is just the phone nos that have changed
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses - Rudy Projects, I think. When they came, the prescription was right, but they hadn't allowed for the wrap-around, so I couldn't really see anything. Took several months and a lot of hassle to get a refund - when what I really wanted was for them to just make the damn things correctly. Would never deal with them again.
Reckon I can kiss my hard earned cash goodbye. If they turn up I'll treat it as a bonus!

Ordered some Rudy Projects with prescription inserts from them last year. Like you I was bit worried as everything went very quiet. However the goods turned up ok and everything was fine.
Bit odd,having a Barnsley address,and a Sheffield phone no.That's a house,not a shop,warehouse or anything similar.The guy's name is Gary Flack his number at that address is 01226 211147 ,according to the local NHS list of opticians.
Had a trio of their riders go past me the other night, friendly enough... for roadies
No idea what they're like to order stuff from.
