Ive always had a problem getting non UST tyres to work with UST rims when using a track pump or co2 .........not any more.

I fitted a maxxis 330 to the ust rim and added a tube.
filled with a track pump to bead the tyres then unbeaded one side to remove the tube.

pop the unbeaded side back on the rim then fill with water
attach track pump and in 4 pumps the tyre is 100% beaded all round.

pop a couple of inches of bead off then get the water out.
add a bit of sealant and pump up.

sorted

much easier than it sounds ,also works well with ZTR Olympic with yellow tape

race wheels with 330's were a worst case scenario, if you can get them then anything is possible :).

to be honest ive been running tubes with UST rims due to the sheer pain of seating non UST tyres on them without tubes.......

just moved to ZTR's to try them and its all good, could be the best solution for running light non ust tyres without tubes.

As for on trail Pah . this was an experiment that worked.
who knows where it will lead ๐Ÿ™‚
