so forgive me!

After what seems like a long wait, some bargain hunting and parcelforce losing my groupset!

"budget" build including some bits i had lying around

bandit 27.5
full slx
fatbarlite
sektor gold fork
mavic crossride wheels
ragley 50mm stem
trail king 2.2
reverb
charge spoon saddle
dmr v8's (for now)

pretty much 30lbs with pedals.

only ridden it in the dark around my drive so far so first impressions will have to wait!

Given that it's my first full sus, any tips on suspensions set up as far as a starting point for compression and rebound? a couple of clicks of each and see how it feels?

it's deliberately out of focus so we can't tell if the valves and tyre logos line up, isn't it?

Should be fun that.
Personally I like rebound on the forks set so that you can just tell that it's not pogoing. Just the slightest of drag as it comes back up.
Then I like the rear a tad slower, to prevent over-the-bars.

They don't - rear wheel valve is at 10 o'clock

its out of focus cos i took the photo in half darkness with a phone at about 9.45 last night.

Honestly given the faff getting the tyres to go up tubeless, logo and valve placement was pretty low down my list of priorities.

Notice i didnt take a picture on my lawn to avoid comments on my lawnmowing abilities ๐Ÿ™‚

The red pedals are going once my bank balance recovers!

Just needs these and you're sorted;

So three rides in, two local and the Burrator loop from princetown.

It's really ***kin quick downhill! beaten a few strava times without feeling like I'm close to the edge of control. Really confidence inspiring. Feels nimble and pretty much exactly what I hoped it would be.

Climbs well too, not far off my hardtail, especially on rougher climbs

Definitely worth the reputation for fun
