A blokes just left with my inbred. I am now therefore an ex mountain biker.
Luckily i am still, and always will be, a cyclist ๐Ÿ˜€

Never rode it, so it had to go. Only off road option is now the CX bike (or the bmx).

Any others gone knobble free?

Up the hills won't be a problem, it's the rocky downhills i don't fancy.

Mtb was stolen so not buy choice but I ride a sscx now which is more fun than it should be really which is making the decision to shell out on a new mtb really difficult !

Does not compute. Just got back from an awesome night ride round grizedale forest. I can only conclude that your local trails are too dull to warrant a mountain bike.

Are you not just an ex-mountain bike owner as the mountain biker comes from riding the thing?

Troll?

Never rode it, so it had to go
That's not how it works, maybe you should have ridden it?

Each to their own but it doesn't sound like you weren't a mountain biker in the first place. It's like BMX and CX at the same time with extra fun and the ability to ride in more diverse locations; what's not to love?

Is that how it works?
So because I've got 2, someone has to go without. Now I feel guilty.
