Hi,
I have a set of hunt 650b wheels with four season v1 hubs.
They were originally QR but switched the end caps to 12mm.
The front hub now has an annoying click. It's on the drive side. It happens at one point of the wheel rotation.
I have removed the end caps, rotated them and reinserted and the click still happens at the same place in relation to the wheel, not the end cap. The bearings appear to run smoothly when I remove the end caps. I reinsert the QR end caps the click disappears.
If I rest a finger on the fork, I can feel the click.
Hope that makes sense?
Any ideas?
Spoke loose? (Assuming you can feel it while riding, not in the stand)
Can be felt and heard both in the stand and on the road

... and spinning thr wheel in hand
Something brake rotor calliper related?
Something brake rotor calliper related
I'd second this as a hunch. Maybe the end caps space out th4 axle very slightly differently, and if the brake rotor is warped, maybe it catches the pads?
Thanks guys.
I can hear and feel it when spinning the wheel in hand so can't be the rotor.
