I'm thinking about selling my Mojo frame.
What's the best way to sell it. I know the simple facts- Singletrack you get 'gone to a good home' and ebay means best prices.
But I don't want to just show pictures. I'd like the buyer to see it first. I've always looked after it, but if I was buying a frame I'd want to meet the owner, ask questions and maybe even test ride it built up.
It's been my precious: helicopter taped, only used for 'special' rides etc. I've not even worn out the brake pads, as the only time it's been in the rain is at the TransWales. But there's a a chip or two, a little scratch. All of which are immaterial, but it'd be nice to show the next owner.
So do I singletrack it
Singletack it local pick up only.
Ebay it
or hang it in my local shop.
If anyone is interested it's a Mojo, Pesto Green, Size Large. Bought new summer 09- Lopes Link fitted. Though am not quite sure if I'm going to sell it or how much for.
I hate ebay, don't forget you will lose a big chunk through auctio fees, commission and paypal fees so work them out and subtract them from the price you expect to get and put up for that price on somewhere like here and other forums.
Loads of pics, original receipt etc etc all help.
How much of a hurry are you in to sell it?

Say how much you want. Stick it up for sale. See what is best offer. Sell it.
It's just a freakin' bike frame. Just sell it and buy something else. Never understand the 'drama' about selling a bike some folk have.
If its so good, and you've used it so little - why sell it?
Well, if it's any help I bought a Mojo frame from the Classifieds. I must be honest and state that paying that amount of money, there was no question of me not seeing it in the flesh. I just would not have handed over cash without viewing.
I was however lucky in that I knew the person selling it and was able to see it.
It's understandable how you are feeling but you must decide why you want to sell. Am really enjoying mine, heavier than I'm used to, but it's good to have a full suss again.
