Right- trying to get the fatty ready for courier up to scotlandshire

What is the best method?

Paisley freight charge a set rate for a bike- do you think this means I can use 2 boxes?

Tried cut and shutting 2 frame boxes and then adding random bits of cardboard on top but Im worried that it not only looks rubbish but whether it will all come apart in transit

Ive got 2 fresh bike boxes this morning so ideas welcome- or if anyone is passing stoke to Edinburgh- happy to pay £40 if they take up!

I assume you've removed the tyres and folded them?

I presume the front rim is too wide for the usual packaging method to work?

Some boxes are bigger than others...

I sold my moonlander recently
left tyres on deflated to 5psi,turned the bars and put it in the on one box my fatty came in.
i added lots of gaffer tape and as much bubble wrap as i deemed suitable.
i used "senditnow" (part of parcelforce?)
cost about £70 insured up to £1400 and it arrived the next day to a very happy person in Manchester
it was posted in Tottenham and collected by a parcelforce van who did not query size and dimensions, although im not saying thats always the case

I've used two bike boxes duct tapped together (infact, more tape than box) and no problems with Paisley.

Them on one big boxes are just what I need!

Wheels set up tubeless so dont really want to take off etc for sake of new owner

Just bought 2 rolls of duct tape so looks like its gonna be a cut and shut job
