Hey up,

I'm in need of some Rockshox 120mm travel Yari/Revs/Pikes/SIDs 29er Forks.

The forks must have a 51mm offset (Trek warranty).

Is there away of quickly determining the offset of a set of forks?

I've done an extensive google search and have come up with not so much, (especially via SRAM). There are various plumb line methods etc... However this wouldn't be accurate and I'm sure a seller couldn't be arsed with all of that (want a decent 2nd hand set).

I've found this on another forum and a poster has stated that the offset should be stamped on the underside of the crown i.e. a visable 46mm (or 46) or 51mm (or 51).

Has anyone heard of this?

Cheers,

John

Contact SRAM, they will be able to tell you from the serial number

Any newer forks will have the offset on a sticker behind the seals on the lowers.
