The new 2018 revelation looks like a Pike legs and crown but with motion control rather than charge damper?
If correct would I be able to drop in a charger damper from an original 2015 Pike into the leg of a 2018 revelation and get a Pike? Not sure how much changed between the original and facelift Pike
Just wondering as a lot of new bikes are coming spec'd with boost Revelation forks.
The service manual here suggests you can.. part no. 00.4018.783.015
90% sure yes you can as I have read that pre-2018 pikes can be retrofitted with the new charger 2 damper. Therefore the layout and dimensions must be similar enough to make it a goer.
Frogstomp backs that up with the link in the manual so I say go for it!
You can possibly use a Charger damper from a boost pike but if its a none boost one then it wont fit as they changed the top cap threads.
