My shed is looking more and more full of tyres every time I look it seems. I've had to find new places to start another pile.

The cost doesn't bear thinking of when you consider some cost as much as a car tyre

I've got a FS & HT, and have I would say close on 2 dozen of the things

Anyone else have tyre anxieties?

I know someone that measures tyres in "feet above the ground." He was up to around three feet when I was there last!

Think this follows on logically from the thread where everyone seemed to earn at least 40k - got to find something to spend some money on.

I'm pretty baffled as to why anyone would need so many different tyres - conditions don't really vary that much in this country do they - its usually dry in places, wet in places, stoney in places, boggy in places etc whatever the time of year.

Whatever makes you happy though I spose. ๐Ÿ˜›

I've cut down. My spare tyre collection is presently

Pair of double ply 2.35 High Rollers
Pair of Tioga slicks
Pair of Panaracers XC (on spare wheels)

Everything else is on a bike.

I htink going tubeless on my main bike has been a big help with that addiction

How many 29er tyres.

Lets just say A VERY large stack.

As for 26er tyres they're just slung on top of the shed roof so don't really count. One things for sure though the shed will never blow away in the wind.

6 Pairs on bikes:
Nevegal / blue groove on Cotic
Swamp things on Whyte
Schwalbe Jimmies on g/f's bike
Schwalbe City Slickers on the commuter
Maxxis wet scream / minion on the Patriot
Some form of road tyres on the racer I never use

Not on bikes:
Michelin something (was rubbish at everything apart from wet roots so doesn't get used)
2x Conti Edge mud tyres
Bontrager Jones
Bontrager Revolt

Not too bad then really, seeing as I need 12 anyway!
