I could have sworn it had written on 8NM but would reckon 6NM would do it!?
Bars not with me atm hence Q before someone has a go!

It's a max value and I'd be surprised if you need more than 4-5Nm (how is that cookeaa ๐ )

Clamping force is a function of the stem and it's bolts Different stems have different clamp areas and differing forces exerted on bars for a given bolt torque.
Always makes me laugh when I see a torque on a bar.
That'll be a reason nae to warranty anyway.

BST, British Standard Tight. Tighten it until you strip the threads then back off a 1/4 turn.
