My eldest lad asked me what I wanted for my birthday 2 weeks ago, as he's a bit skint (but can afford 2 fair sized tattoos) I told him to get me some cycling socks, Pearl Izumis to be precise. After asking him where my pressie was he says, quote, 'we dont have cycling shops in london, using a bike is like asking to be killed by a bus or have it stolen.
i found them online but they were in the states and wouldnt ship them to the uk.
so shut up and give me your bank details and ill send you the money instead!'

How many bike shops in London? Lots. Seriously, lots. Not all are good but there are lots of bike shops all over the place!

There is a bike shop about every 300 yards in London. Just like coffee shops.
He can't have been looking very hard, if you type "camden bike shop" into Google it comes back with a list of 10 straight away and that's within a mile or so of Camden itself - evrything from small independants to chain stores like Evans and Cycle Surgery.
Well he is a bit of a tit really. he thought Evans was just a shop for fat women. He won't have been looking very hard at all!
