Getting a bit fed up now. Had my big toe nails removed on 4th December, told 4-6 week recovery time. Treatment burnt a hole through to the bone and since got infected. Visiting the podiatrist once a week, can only say it will be a 'Little more time. **cks sake, the wife bought me some winter boots for Christmas, it will have thawed out by the time I get to use them.

So come on how long since you been in the saddle?

I've not ridden my mountain bike since Noveber (broke my scaphoid). Fotunately I could still ride a road bike, so all is not lost! (Though my BB has seized up on the On one!)

New years day for me. Now I'm back at uni, bogged down in coursework (that I should have kept on top of over christmas instead of riding all the time!!!)

Was minus four according to car thermometer, but the rest of 2009 has a lot to live up to because the three rides I've had this year have all been amazing.

About 4 weeks ago. Its covered in snow and ice here and no one seems to cycle much in the winter.

I tell you something, the ice makes you a better rider.

On sections where I usually poof it and grab the brakes, you know you can't do that on the ice so you end up riding smoother, faster, better, harder, stronger...

3.5 hours ago.

Greengore up to Longridge fell & back.

3 of us out,& the only tyre tracks in the thin covering of snow on the fireroad in Longridge fell were ours.
But I suspect a 'large' group were not far behind.... 😉

Coming up to three weeks, fell off my bike onto my back. Just as it seems to get better it goes twang again. in fact it just went again 10 minutes ago.
Got a number for the man that looks after the MK Dons, hopefully he can help.
Desperately want to be able to ride the first reliabilty trail of the year.

Probably over a month since a non commute ride. I've lost my mojo at the moment, so getting on the bike to do anything other than commute isn't that enticing.

musta been dec 19, the day before mrs. and I went home for the holidays.
ok, we've been back here ( umm... home... I get so confused by that word ) but.. well...it's been mighty chilly of late.

this w.e. we are off to London for a wedding so it looks like next weekend will be my first chance for awhile.

Can't seem to shake this chest infection.

With you on that. Chest still isn't right 7 weeks on. Going to the doc tonight.

Oh, and for the thread:

Commute this morning (2 hours ago)
Road bike - sunday club run
MTB - er, Hit the North last year (*hangs head in shame*)

2 hours 10 minutes ago, that was a commute but since my commute is 20 miles I consider that a proper ride.

If I'm off the bike for more than 2 days I'm not a happy bunny.
