[Closed] How long should I reasonably get out of 4 cell 18650 on a Solarstorm X2s?

On to my second set of cheap Chinese batteries that are giving me 1.5 - 2 hours on starting on high. What would I get out of a decent set of 18650 4 cell batteries? Thinking I'll just keep the cases and swap out the batteries for some Torchy ones if that's possible.

I have one of the Torchy Fluxient battery packs (doesn't seem to be selling them at the moment though). I recall it having a larger capacity Samsung batteries?

It did 2 hours on full power & lost 1 blob on the light. I've since got a splitter cable to run 2 lights on one battery & tested that - it seems to be about 1hr 40 mins on max power that can last before the bottom warning light is flashing & the power drops off.

Good batteries.

I ran one as a head torch with the torchy pack (in my back pack) at relentless 24, ran for at least 6 hours on low.. was too knackered to see how many lights were left on when I took it of tho'

Any Cree XM-L based light is likely to be pulling approx 1000ma from a 7.4V battery per LED on full power.
You can roughly approximate battery life by doing:
Battery Capacity (mah) / (1000 x NoOfLeds)

So for a 2 LED light using old magicshine/fluxient 4 cell pack:
4400 / 2000 = approx 2.2hrs
Pretty sure I read somewhere there's some new 4 cell packs rated to 6400mah, so the best you'd get on 4 cells would be:
6400 / 2000 = approx 3.2hrs

hunk lee seems to be the place to go for replacement packs now- pretty quick delivery, good range. Seemingly random pricing, I found a high capacity pack for less than the middle of the road ones. Oh, quite short cable though, that's slightly annoying, it's about 3 inches too short to work nicely with my bag/light setup so I need to use an extender

The industry seems to have arbitrarily decided that 4 cells = 4400MAH but it's total bobbins, even within apparently identical products there's a range of performance. Think of it like chinese lumens

This is the description of the six cell pack I got from Torchy on ebay

Fluxient 6600mAh 7.4v battery with pouch compatible with Magicshine, Solar Storm

Paid £29.99 for it, not currently available but I assume it will be back on at some point.

Kaidomain are doing high-quality battery packs containing Panasonic NCR cells. My double even came with a nice nylon pouch which I didn't expect.
