- 2004 Gt ruckus - front suspension and disk brakes - what a revelation after the claud butler
- 2005 Specialized enduro - frist full suss, and never looked back at hardtails
- 2010 - Ibis mojo HD - Great, but expensive
- 2014 - Cube GTC agree road bike , I dont know anything about road bikes, but this seems fine to me.

So 28 bikes in 20 years.
A cheap BSO that I commuted on.
Replaced that in 2004 with a EBC Courier.
A cheap Dawes MTB.
Replaced that with a 2007 On One 456.
A cheap cant-remember-what road bike.
Replaced that with a 2009 Specialized Allez.
And had a Singlecross too. Sold that.
So had 7 in total and still have 3. And looking at that list it seems I had quite a buying phase in the mid-to-late naughties but have completely dried up since.

Haven't checked the whole thread, but I might be close to winning this, with only one bike and two tandems (which count as half?) in the last 20 years.
Maybe add another half for the unicycle too (and that's the only one in the last 10 years). That makes 2.5 in total.
The 21y tandem (not counted above) still gets ridden more than all the others put together though.
